By the end of the course learners will be able to:
Identify key legislation that relates to moving and handling of people
Explain the use of safe systems of work and care plans in relation to assisting to move and support individuals
Explain the importance of back care, while moving and assisting people
Understand how Biomechanics affect the way individuals move
Demonstrate the principles of risk assessment relating to moving and handling, while carry out practical techniques
