DurationIt all starts with a song. A great song is what drives all the other things that eventually create a life-changing experience for the listener. Songwriting sessions are a valuable path for poets and folks who like to journal or just write songs.
At The Kitchener Academy of Music you will learn from accomplished songwriters currently receiving royalties from their published works how to structure your thoughts in a way that leaves the listener with a memorable hook, as well as an inspiring or thought-provoking lyric. We also direct you on how to get your final work copyright registered.

30 minute, weekly, private lessons are only $125 per month! Lessons are month to month and there is absolutely no long-term commitment required.

Students have the option to enroll in our songwriting classes where students will be able to develop their own unique artistry.
We all have a writer in us, so how do we get it out? I will help you learn to develop your lyric writing skills, create a strong story line and melody, how to understand and build the chord progressions and which substitutions chords to use
Resonate offers private 30 minute and 60 minute songwriting lessons to those ages 6 and older. Each lesson is customized by a Certified Resonate Instructor to be personally suited to each individual student’s skill level and goals.
The song writing program begins with a simple approach to music theory. Students learn how to build keys and how to decide which chords fit together
The Music Studio's songwriting program encourages aspiring songwriters ages seven years and up to explore their creativity in a private lesson format.
