Founded, as the Suzuki-Orff School for Young Musicians in 1981, we launched our inaugural classes teaching 15 families of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds through our unique curriculum integrating the Suzuki and Orff methodologies.
In 1986, we expanded on our goal to make music education available to children in Chicago by establishing partnerships with a number of Chicago Public Schools (CPS). In 2014, we began doing business as the Chicago Center for Music Education (ChiME).

Crescendo Music Center offers private lessons in most instruments and voice, as well as group classes in music theory, choir, and instrumental ensembles

Manhattan School of Music’s prestigious Musical Theatre Program is the only stand-alone conservatory program in New York City
Designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn what it means to be a "Triple Threat": an actor, singer, and dancer. Students will experience all aspects of musical theatre by studying acting, voice, dance, improvisational skills and to improve stage presence. Broadway here we come!
