In the Wednesday musical theatre class, students will study singing, acting, dance, character analysis and musical theatre history across the term. Lessons will build a number of performance skills, within the context of musical theatre themes.
Students take part in both group and solo work. This class takes part in the end of year show in November, and rehearsals will begin for this in term 3.
Arts a Go Go! is an award-winning company run by Upper Hutt residents, Rachel Main and Stuart Grant. Rachel and Stu are both qualified and experienced teachers who have a passion for working with children and developing creativity through the arts.
They are joined by a team of enthusiastic and dedicated trained and industry-experienced performing arts teachers.

A combination of dance and acting to your favourite Musical Theatre tunes. We encourage confidence and performance through games, story telling, team building exercises, skits and dance in a fun supportive, environment! Students have the opportunity to perform in our shows!Â

We introduce musicals through one song and one ensemble script. activities are peppered throughout the training in order to facilitate retention. focus on fun and creativity. primary age, non-graded, non-auditioned.Â
