At Shee’k we love musicals and are thrilled to introduce classes that deliver the perfect combination of song and dance to bring out the performer in every child. Muscial Theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines not only dance but music, song and spoken dialogue.
Students will learn acting, singing and dance skills through scripts, vocal coaching and choreography. Through a range of acting techniques, speech delivery and vocal warm up, students will be challenged in a fun and exciting way with our fabulous Miss Adelaide.
Private vocal lessons are also available upon request
Shee’k Dance Studio has been established since 2010 and is situated in the heart of Port Melbourne. The variety of styles we teach include Hip-hop, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Break Dancing, Classical Ballet and Creative Dance for our little ones.
Our focus is on the development of the students confidence, self-development, creativity and their dance skills. We thrive ourselves in being a part of the community and welcoming all levels in a non-competitive way.
We believe in encouragement, discipline, determination, dedication and inspiring students to achieve their best but in a friendly and safe environment.
Our teachers are currently working in the dance industry as professional dancers and can offer this knowledge and experience to the students. They are dedicated and want to share their passion for dance. Above all, the classes are full of fun and enjoyment.
Musical Theatre performers are what the industry calls 'Triple Threats' and this class covers all 3 aspects needed for the ultimate performer. A combination of singing, dancing and acting creates a confident and versatile artist.
Musical Theatre is the perfect style for the triple threat performer. It incorporates singing, dancing and acting, and is predominantly focused on building and developing characterization for the purpose of storytelling.
Combines singing, dancing and acting! We use an array of modern Musicals, such as Wicked, Matilda and Aladdin
Charlotte’s Musical Theatre Jazz Classes begin with a set modern/jazz warm-up- and focuses on the combination of isolations, basic ballet and jazz technique and presentation
Musical theatre is a unique class that combines three separate classes; singing, dancing and acting into one session.
