For students who desire to achieve CGSB certification, the following prerequisites are required. A candidate without these prerequisites may not have his/her training recognized by the NDT certifying agency”.

Materials And Processes Pre-requisite
Prior to taking any NDT training courses all students must pass a 40 hour course or provide evidence acceptable to Red River College that he/she has successfully passed a Materials & Process examination administered by an NDT Accepted Training Organization (NATO).
Proof of this training must be provided to the NDT instructor a minimum of 8 days prior to the start of the course. Students not providing proof will be removed from the course
Math Pre-requisite
Anyone taking any NDT method course will be required to pass the Red River NDT math skills test or provide evidence acceptable to Red River College that he/she has successfully passed an NDT math examination administered by an NDT Accepted Training Organization (NATO).

Course Dates And Fees
Students enrolling in Part-Time and Online Education courses may be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus Store locations or online at bookstore.rrc.ca.
Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
