Cooking & Baking:
We witness our littlest ones (as young as 2!) as they see, smell, touch their way about their banana pancakes;
We see our junior ones manipulate kitchen cutlery and handle raw ingredients in their teams with confidence and finesse;
We experiment with our senior chefs as they tinker with bold, new recipes and independently whip up full meals.
At every age and at every level, there’s plenty to learn – and our facilitators meet the little ones at wherever they’re at to personally work with them.
Children can explore the fun world of kitchens and cuisines while participating in cooking classes offered by The Little Things. Lessons in cooking help children develop skills and interests—this includes planning meals, food preparation, cultural traditions, meal etiquette, presentation projects, and involvement with community service. Also, virtual baking and cooking are now available.

Prepare for a time of surprise and discovery, as we teach you how to make these fluffy and fragrant cakes yourself.
Join us for a fun-filled baking class to learn to make your own Lychee Mango Cake from scratch. From baking soft and moist lychee sponges to frosting with mango buttercream, you get to bring home your very own dainty cake at the end of the day.
Tapioca Cake called Ubi Kayu , a traditional Malay/ Nyonya kuih which is semi-soft, chewy and fragrant. Using Tapioca, it has an inviting aroma combination from the pandan leaves, eggs and coconut milk.
Come join us in this ‘hands -on’ cupcake baking class. Learners will learn essential skills such as identifying baking ingredients, exposure to the use of baking equipment and learning fundamental baking skills.
