Feed the Mass's Food Education program is now going virtual. The mission is the same and now going global. We are going to empower the community through food.
We have been doing it since 2016, and directly we can reach our community on a national scale.Through our virtual cooking classes, you will be able to cook alongside Chef Jacobsen and many other chefs as they guide you through unique dishes.
These classes are just about cooking, and they are also about the culture, nutrition, and sourcing of the food. Knowledge is power, and when it comes to what you eat, you must be informed.
Class with the international pastry chef Cesar Yukio. He will teach you the unique pastry techniques to create the perfect recipes.
One of our all-time favorite family dishes is homemade lasagna! This perfect one-skillet-style lasagna that feeds 4 cuts your preparation time in half and your baking time in half!
Let’s make pasta! Roll up your sleeves and practice mixing and shaping dough, cutting linguine noodles and pinching farfalle to create the classic bow-tie shape. We’ll pair each pasta with a summer-inspired sauce and round out the meal with a Nectarine and Arugula Salad.
Discussion includes: achieving proper doneness in vegetables, rice and pasta, general rules and methods of cookery, seasoning, and serving.
