The Arts Village is a non-profit arts-based community centre. OUR VISION is for Rotorua to be a vibrant, creative community, where art makes life good.
A good working knowledge of the concepts of perspective will help you draw any subject with correct dimensionality.  It can also help in your realist drawing, painting and invented subjects and environments.
From our Drawing and Painting class, kids will gain confidence in their artistic journey in a relaxed environment. The tutors play music in the background, kids get to draw and paint with other like-minded children and get inspiration from each other.
This course is suitable for complete beginners or for those people who want a refresher to get back into art. All students receive a start-up drawing materials pack including pencils and a sketchbook.
Whether you are a beginner, professional, or enjoy to dabble in the exciting world of art, you should be able to find all that you require at Artistic Expressions and if we don't stock it we will get it for you.
Life Drawing sessions are an opportunity to practise drawing a life model. These sessions are separate to Vincents’ General Studio hours. Drawing boards and easels are provided but please bring your own paper and drawing materials.
