Photography today is firmly established as both an art form and an essential tool in communication. If you already know how to operate your camera and are comfortable with your knowledge of most of its functions, this is the course you are looking for. Learn how to put that “wow” factor into your digital photos.
This is a course for those who already know how to operate their Digital SLR camera at a basic level, and now want to take their skills to the next level. Whether you take photos for pleasure or want a career, your teacher will teach you to get your camera off autopilot and get the most out of your Digital SLR.
A quick grounding in the basics and legal issues is followed by practical use of your camera in a day shoot with a special subject, and a night shoot in a secret location.
You will receive homework every week followed by plenty of discussion about your own photos. Expect a creative and inspiring work environment that is very hands-on.
Learn how to use every feature on your DSLR including lenses, shutters, aperture, ISO and their relationships. Discover creative depth of field, composition, tips and techniques, lighting and presentation.
This short course is non-accredited therefore is not registered with the National Training Register.

Photography is a skill we all use daily. However, the mechanics of a photo is often little understood, even by semi-professional photographers. Photography is based on a combination of 3 elements (sensor sensitivity + shutter speed + aperture)
This course is designed for those who wants to start shooting weddings as an interests or professionally.  Unlike other courses out there, you get one on one attention from an experienced and successful wedding photographer, everything you need to know from the very start to finish.Â
These are 2hr hands on photography workshops where Kat goes through the fundamentals of photography and then creates a product/food related scene showing you the way she thinks and composes her photos.
This session will run you through the cost-saving concepts of developing your own black and white film at home. As well as this, you'll have the chance to make a contact print of your negative!
In this hands-on 12-week course, you will gain experience capturing all kinds of images under a range of conditions. Ideal for beginners and anyone looking to study our Diploma of Photo Imaging.
