The Academy creates musicians. Born out of a belief that music is for everyone (adults and children) and developed to challenge those who disagree. We strive to commit every music lesson to enhancing, inspiring and teaching the next generation of musicians.
We teach according to individuals’ needs and desired outcomes, whether that be taking lessons as a recreational activity, passing music examinations or becoming a professional musician.
The company resides in a four storey building in the heart of Camden (London) complete with Music Rooms (for hire) and Dance Studios (for hire)
Through its doors walk budding young musicians, aspiring singer/songwriters and rising stars. A hub of creativity, passion and ambition – the atmosphere is electric and inspiring; an infectious place to work, learn, teach and create.
Ensembles, bands, choirs and performance troupes are the catalysts behind the musical energy of The Academy. Regular concerts and gigs take students out of the classroom and onto the stage; performance (we believe) being at the heart of every musicians’ success.

Piano calsses are offered by Milsom School of Music.We want our pupils to grow into knowledgeable, sensitive and thoughtful musicians, no matter what stage they reach with their instrument.
The king of instruments, the piano is at the heart of much of both classical and popular genres. We offer popular and classical style piano lessons, to diploma level. We place emphasis on notation and musical form.
The piano is one of the most popular instruments to learn. The simple layout makes it very accessible and easy to navigate as a beginner, and its wide range and versatility lend it to all styles of music, from classical to jazz.
We know what it is like to learn a new instrument, and we know what it is like to strive to improve on your skill. So, let us help you with your musical journey on the piano . Our piano lessons are taught in an equiped studio with good equipment.
