Piano / Keyboard Lessons are offered by Musicanta - The School of Music for all ages and abilities. At Musicanta, we are passionate about quality music education to grow well-rounded musicians. We offer professional instruction in music theory and various instruments to any desiring individual, while having loads of fun! We teach beginners to advanced students, from the age of 3 years old, to senior members.

All of our teachers are highly qualified with tons of experience and we all share the same passion for music. We are patient and love working with young minds to mold them into becoming the best version of themselves. We teach so much more than just how to play an instrument; we form personalities and characteristics, and we show students how wonderful this world can be if you bring music into it!

I started piano lessons when I was 7 years old and I haven't stopped thus far as I believe that there is always more to be learned! I have a Bachelors Degree in Musicology (BMus) from Unisa. I have had three excellent teachers during my career: Ms Adri Marais, Ms Maria du Plessis, and Doctor Bertha le Roux, who have all had an immense impact on myself as I explored the world of music. Music, and especially piano music, is my passion. I love working with young children and enriching their lives with my music knowledge. I have had many students study under my guidance and those who have done examination, have all passed with merit or distinction. I always do my utmost best to bring the music talent forth in each individual student by assessing their personal interests and aspirations, and developing their technique and knowledge to a far enough level to enable them to achieve their goals. Today I am the proud owner and principal of this top class music school. I, along with my amazing team, strive to give the highest quality music lessons. My goal in life is to bring music into the lives of as many children and adults as I possibly could!
