Learning and spreading music is motto of Sudhir Sir's Life. He has over 32 years of experience of Learning and teaching Music. He has always dreamt of starting his own Music Academy where he can fulfill his motto of life and eventually it came into existence with “Omkar Music Academy “.

He has named it after most worshiped deities in Hindu Mythology , The Lord of Beginnings -Lord Ganesha , which also happened to be his son’s name .

It all started in 1983 while working as a Music Teacher in various institutes namely St. Laurance high school Thakur Complex, Kandivali(E).Meenakshi Institute Of Music, Vasai E) & Vyas Sangeet Vidyalaya , Dadar(W).

He has always felt a need that devote more time towards explaining musical lessons and in a personalized manner to each and every student, as he has observed that grasping power of each student was different and need to tweak his teaching accordingly, which was not possible in strict time-bound schedule of schools.

He felt need to start his own Music Academy where he would get time to focus more on individual level.

With his immense experience and knowledge of Music and his passion to pass it on to as many as possible, he has developed many Improvisation Techniques to Play various instruments so that student will be at ease while learning and also find playing instruments interesting and start loving it.

In Omkar Music Academy along with playing instruments ,we teach How to read Western Staff Notations in very step by step manner and make it easy to understand. Which covers theory along with practical hands-on experience.
