Lone Star School of Music is dedicated to helping our students have fun while learning to play an instrument the right way. We offer not only private music lessons on a HUGE variety of instruments but our popular group classes are perfect for adults, teens, children, beginners and pros!
We know that learning how to play an instrument should be fun. The Lone Star School of Music strives to deliver Austin music lessons in a relaxed atmosphere conducive to the learning and sharing of music, to be an incubator of ideas and talent and to help foster a sense of community to all the musicians of Austin, both amateur and professional.
We revel in the city’s rich musical heritage, promote it’s present and will, hopefully, help to guide it’s future. Austin is known far and wide as the Live Music Capital of the World and we at the The Lone Star want to do our part to help maintain and deserve that reputation!
In our state-of-the-art piano lab, students sit at their own keyboard and work with the teacher and one another on a group lesson. You'll also have the opportunity to work on your own with the personal support of your instructor
This workshop will be in master class format. During a master class each student performs a polished piece for the teacher and the other students in the class. The teacher then gives advice on tone, phrasing and other musical and technical aspects of the piece
Families love to see their child running towards their lesson with enthusiasm. It is so much fun, they can’t believe they’re learning
Piano Lessons are offered by Crescendo Music Center
Our teachers will teach kids how to play the piano in a variety of styles from classical to popular music. Whether you want to play like Mozart, Ray Charles or Alicia Keys, our teachers are happy to design your lessons to fit your desires
