Owners Jason Mannell and Gavin Leach both have spent most of their lives on the Northern Beaches playing music in bands in and out of school.
Mona Vale Music opened its doors in September of 2004 as a dedicated music shop, recording studio, tuition facility, PA hire and live music production facility.
In 2008 we moved into our current premises which offered a bigger retail space and more room for the tuition business to grow.
We currently teach several hundred students each week and are highly regarded as the ‘place to go’ for contemporary music lessons. Our store has now grown to provide a huge selection of instruments and accessories at the best possible price.
We pride ourselves on having expert service and support for all that we offer.
Piano lessons are held on a one-on-one basis. Students are encouraged to read and listen to music using various techniques including the solfege system, and most of all, by appreciating the fine tones, rhythms and nuances of music.
Encore On Keys is an exciting Australian piano/keyboard learning programme featuring a student book, flash cards and a take home Accompaniment CD (with recorded backings; two speeds for each tune – a slower one for rehearsal and a quicker one for performance).
This class will improve your cardiovascular fitness and a great fat burner. HITT style with short workouts.
We offer private One on One Piano lessons for students of all ages. We specialise in teaching beginners and we make learning fun using a song based curriculum to teach the important Theory and Techniques.
