Instructors:
Generally, volunteer private teachers donate an hour of their time per week, teaching two students for a half-hour each. If you are interested in volunteering as a teacher at W.O. Smith Music School,
Requirements:
Students must be between the ages of 9 and 18 years old. Students must be proficient in reading music OR have completed the Basic Musicianship class at W.O. Smith.
Schedule:
Private lessons are offered during school hours, Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am–6:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am–12:00 pm. Lesson times are based on the schedules of the participating student and his or her teacher.

Private piano lessons are one on one with a master teacher
Piano Lessons are offered by Child Play Music School for all skill level. Through the ages music has been handed down from teacher to pupil via One-On-One lessons. Child Play Music School offers Piano Lessons. Private lessons meet once a week, 3-4 times a month for a total of 42 lessons a year.
The piano is a springboard for the study of all other instruments. On the piano, students learn to read notes simultaneously in two different clefs (treble and bass) while developing their sense of polyphony (hearing more than one sound at the same time)
