DurationThis is a course of musicianship for children ages 7+, where we incorporate all aspects of music education: listening, singing, reading and writing. Children have a vast piano repertoire of original songs with backing tracks, they train their ear through solfege and songs for singing, they learn to clap/play/read/write rhythm, music appreciation, music theory and ensemble all in a fun, contemporary and effective group setting. This is a new forming class.
Launched in 1997 MSI is now considered a market leader in music education for young students. We have a one of a kind curriculum based on contemporary music that is designed to provide music courses in group tuition for students from 2 years of age. In addition, classes are fun, energetic and fast paced which holds their attention span.
Here at MSI we have a strong commitment to music education, a training seminar is provided to thoroughly prepare all teachers in our system. All the programs are supported by speed variable disks and have been carefully structured to give the maximum benefit to each student, developing all technical and musical components. Individual tuition can be integrated from Year 3 of the program for students wishing to cover any of the National Examination Systems.
Quartertonez Music offers private one-on-one lessons either virtually, at our school, or at your home, in voice, oud, cello, violin, piano, guitar, percussion, flute, recorder, steel drum, harp, saxophone, clarinet, tabla, buzuq, and qanun for students of all ages and skill levels
Our piano teachers ensure that all students learn the basics of music and musicianship with attention to note reading, rhythm, terminology, and technique. Students can focus on any style or genre from Classical to Rock and Jazz
