Timestep Academy of Dance & Performing Arts in Portsmouth was founded in 1997 by Mrs Sarah Williams.
It has grown in numbers since then due to the excellent reputation that has been achieved.
Past pupils have gone on to train at Ballet schools such as Elmhurst and Tring, and others have furthered their training at London Colleges such as Birds, Performers College and Urdang.
At Timestep we offer many kinds of dance training in Portsmouth that some other schools can’t offer….
For those who want to take their dance training a little further, we can also offer private tuition and entry into competitions and other events.
This class help individuals to gain confidence, boost self esteem, make new friends, keep fit and healthy and also give dancers a focus and outlet away from school, technology and work.
Modern classes are offered by Chiltern Dance Studio Liverpool. “Each Chiltern child student and graduate is unique. Everyone has a talent, it is our pleasure and privilege to discover, develop and nurture those talents”.
Ballet will develop a profound understanding of core stability, length and quality of arm line and strength and control in the lower body.We offer free and syllabus based ballet classes.
Intermediate Ballet classes are offered by Southampton Dance Academy. Southampton Dance Academy work extremely hard to share our extensive and constantly evolving knowledge of dance with children and adults, utilising inspiring music and excellent syllabi in beautiful spaces.
