We offer a wide variety of languages from complete beginners through to advanced level. If you're unsure of your level, you can take our online test designed to determine the best class for you. Classes take place in the evening or on Saturdays.

We care about your progress. Where other courses might leave you in pairs to practice with someone at the same level as you, our trainer pays attention to each individual student and is always on hand to correct errors along the way.

Portugal has a population of just over 10 million, so why is Portuguese spoken by 250 million people around the world? One word: Brazil. It is also the official language of eight countries: Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, East Timor, Guine-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, and São Tome and Príncipe.

Portuguese language course is offered by The Language Centre for all skill level. We have courses from beginners to very advanced students, taught by experienced native speakers or teachers who have spent part of their lives in one of the countries where the language is spoken.
