After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sir J. J. School of Arts, Mumbai. I started my career as a full-time faculty for the Ceramic & Pottery Department at L. S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai. While teaching I also completed a Master of Arts in Asian Indian Culture.
Later as a professional Ceramic Artist founded a studio by the name of "Clay Explore Studio Pottery" in 2012 and commenced designing and producing a body of work for restaurants, cafés, and exclusive designs for Architects and Interior Designers. I also conduct pottery classes in my Mumbai Studio.
Conducts workshops PAN INDIA to promote local artists and clay-art awareness and thereby revive the dying art of pottery.
The beginner’s course is designed to give students an overview to the medium while picking up the basics of ceramics and pottery
Studio Pottery course is offered by Madhyamaka Studio for all skill level. Madhyamaka Studio is a design innovation company, where we focus on creating beautiful everyday objects. We love working with new materials and exploring new art forms.Â
Rashi Jain has trained in ceramics and visual art at the Valley School, Bangalore and the Golden Bridge Pottery, Pondicherry. She has exhibited across India in shows such as Porcelain India (India Habitat Center, Delhi), Bridges: Indian Contemporary Ceramics (The Stainless, Delhi).
This course provides you enough room to explore art and design, aesthetics and function, sculpture and product, abstraction and representation - all with the use of clay.
