Course Details

The beginner’s course is designed to give students an overview to the medium while picking up the basics of ceramics and pottery. You will learn the following-

  • Two Hand building techniques of working with clay
  • Introduction to the potter’s wheel (known as Throwing)
  • Surface decoration techniques
  • Techniques of glaze application
  • Basic level of theory so that you understand the materials that you are using
  • The course module is made up of 10 sessions
  • Each session is for 2 hours
  • Sessions are either twice or thrice a week, depending on the batch you register for
