The Studio Pottery program introduces you to clay as a medium and challenges you to learn by doing. With a blend of theory and practicals, the course will teach you hand building techniques, wheel pottery, glazing and kiln procedures.
This course provides you enough room to explore art and design, aesthetics and function, sculpture and product, abstraction and representation - all with the use of clay. In addition to skill building, this course will also nurture your creativity and assist you with the development of your own creative process.
Our Studio Pottery program is open to students aged 14 and above, and is offered in small groups of upto 4 students or as a one-on-one program.
We strive to build an ecosystem of art and design education that is facilitated by empathy and nurtured by collaborative creativity.
Pottery workshops are designed for those who don’t want to do the full course but still want to experience the joy of working on clay. Make your own ceramic pieces and take it home with you!
Classes cover both hand-building techniques and wheel throwing and are available for anyone above 16 years of age.
In practice, we engage with three media – Architecture, Ceramics and Handmade Paper. We employ design, communication and social innovation as means to address societal challenges in a contextual manner.
