Course Background

Spill response is essential in ensuring protection of your site and the environment from pollution incidents.

This Train the Trainer Spill Management course is designed to provide key staff with sufficient knowledge about spill response to carry out in-house training.

In-house training can be a financially viable option when compared to externally training individual staff. It also brings additional benefits such as enabling comprehensive training at induction or frequent refresher training and toolbox talks.

SSG offer this course over half a day as a private course.

• Basic principles of teaching and learning

• Course members will present a short training session on the subject of spill management

Training Certification and Assessment

Delegates will be assessed on their input during practical exercises and a summative assessment at the end of the course. Following successful completion of training, SSG course attendance certificates will be issued; these are valid for three years.
