Caroline Butler School of Dance (CBSD) was started in 2011 by Caroline Butler (Principal) in the idyllic Hamptons Estate, Worcester Park Surrey. The venue initially captured her imagination and then when she met the community, she knew she'd found the perfect location for her school.
CBSD offers classes for children (and now adults*) in Classical Ballet, Tap* & Modern and Stretch Class. Starting with only 6 pupils, there are now around 100 pupils taking classes throughout the week.

Dancers enjoy opportunities such as: assessments, examinations, audition preparation, choreographic competitions, bi-annual school shows, fetes and other performing opportunities outside of regular class hours.
Our experienced teachers are passionate about helping each dancer achieve their highest potential, while fostering a joy for performing and being active. All of our teachers are registered teachers with professional dance bodies (i.e.RAD & ISTD).
Bringing the highest teaching expertise and performing experience to our pupils. All teachers are first aid trained, DBS checked, attend regular continued professional development and work to the highest standards in child safety.
In our Nursery ballet classes we develop the basic ballet movements taught in Tinies classes while encouraging our dancers to become a little more independent.
Classical ballet classes are available to boys and girls of all ages and its aim is to increase awareness of this fun and classical art. Pupils will follow a carefully developed syllabus providing a comprehensive ballet training for children and young people who wish to dance for pleasure and also

Modern dance is a rhythmic dance style which originated in America before travelling to the rest of the world. It is often seen on the stages of musical productions and is know for its theatrical qualities.
At The South Sutton Ballet School we follow the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus which allows your child to develop a strong understanding in classical ballet technique.
