At Precision Dance we specialize in preschool dance! Our classes are fun and engaging, and our teachers are well equipped (and qualified!) to work with the littlest dancers.

Our preschool classes are specifically designed to help children learn co-ordination, balance, basic movement, rhythms, and counting.

Not only is dance amazing exercise, it’s also really good for the developing brain - we highly rate it, and hope you will too!

These classes incorporate music and steps used in all styles of dance for a great intro to creative dance!

Special Message

Precision Dance has classes in ATOD Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary. We also teach Pre-School Ballet and Pre-Grade Ballet, Private Lessons, Acrodance and Competition Work.

We love getting to know every child individually so that we can work out the perfect teaching plan for them, this is why our classes are small.

We pride ourselves in fostering a love and passion for dance, while teaching correct technique in a safe and supportive environment.

Most of all, we have fun!

Teacher's Experience
Aimee (the director and main teacher) has trained extensively in classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, contemporary and musical theatre. She has been teaching for many years in Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and Thames. She is also an internationally qualified Total Barre instructor and encourages her dancers to take pilates and barre classes for added strength and flexibility! Aimee has been involved in a lot of musical theatre and performance work over the years and has experience teaching competition choreography and stage work. When Aimee finished school she was offered a scholarship to train full time in Melbourne but turned the offer down in favour of teaching and teacher training, this is her passion and she wants to pass on her love of dance and the arts to anyone she can!
