Uniform: Optional, but pink leotard and pink poplin skirt for girls recommended, pink ankle socks and pink leather ballet shoes. As an alternative, shorts and tee shirt or leggings and/or track pants in winter are acceptable. Socks preferred.
All uniform requirements are available through the Whanganui Ballet & Dance Academy.

Dance for Fun:
Each stage is as important as the other – more than any other dance form, ballet requires correct technique and patient correction from a trained teacher. After 14 years of training, and have completed a Master of Arts degree at Auckland University, Anna decided to concentrate on a teaching career.
She completed two years of part-time study with Julia Barry studying a course developed by her, based on the Royal Ballet School teachers training program, while at the same time teaching part-time for vocational students at the Auckland Ballet Academy.
This is a creative dance class for children who are 3 at the start of the year & a caregiver who 'dances' with them..
For students aged 2-4 years. Fun classes that build confidence and a love of dance.Â
These are the perfect classes to introduce children to dance in a fun and safe environment. Children are encouraged to find their inner dancer and express their love for muisc and dance
Does your toddler light up when he hears music? Does she twirl, leap and dance the day away?
Toddlers aged from 18 months + participate with a parent or caregiver as they begin to explore the wonderful world of dance at our Wellington dance school.
