The CRISTOFORI story began in 1980 when Mr. J.B. Wong, Founder of CRISTOFORI Music, had a vision to transform Singapore through music.
Since then, CRISTOFORI has grown into the largest music company and music school in Singapore with a network of over 38 centres island-wide.
Our mission is to fill the joy of Music into every household through holistic musical education and quality musical instruments. Start your child’s musical journey with CRISTOFORI.
At CRISTOFORI, we have created the Whole Person educational approach, which focuses on three aspects: academic skills, learning skills and the awareness of the learning process itself. In other words, our students are trained not to be spoon-fed and seek knowledge actively. They learn how to listen, learn and organise information into knowledge. As such, students will gain analytical skills, concentration and abstract thinking skills.
The core element in our Whole Person education philosophy is humanity education. We aim to cultivate educated and gracious young adults through cultural and social events such as our major annual events, the GIL program and numerous community involvement projects. We seek to nurture a generation of proactive, positive, creative and spiritually rich citizens.
Using an integrated arts approach, these preschoolers will be exploring elements of music & movement through various modes such as instrument play, drama, dance, games & story-telling.
One important aim for this age is to alleviate their fear of separation from their parents or significant family members. They are emotionally dependent and should not be forced to work without their parents help if they are not ready.
Through age-appropriate music, they will be exposed to fundmental skills related to music - such as sensitivity to pitch, volume, sound and basic musicality through rhythm and song exercises.
Our integrated learning approach emphasizes the process rather than the product.
With an increased level of confidence, these little ones are ready for a new phase of learning. Their ability to keep a regular beat and follow simple tunes widens the scope for interesting new musical challenges.
