In 2017, #hubbynoinstagram aka José and I (who you will probably meet at the Studio!) started thinking about this project, called Vituperio – which was going to be a non traditional bakery experience.
Our goal – to share this love for bread with you, and to help everyone learn what made from scratch bread is all about in a very professional but welcoming and hands-on experience.
It was so hard to find a quality baking class outside the formal culinary schools – and that was part of out inspiration!
Our goal is to have a professional teaching in a fun and a hands-on approach to baking, it’s about letting go of all preconceptions about this amazing and nutritious food so that we can bring together this old craft back to life!
Master new baking techniques and always have homemade bread just a recipe away. In this class, we cover the essentials, from working with yeast and mixing dough to the importance of proofing.
In this hands-on class where she will teach you how to quickly make 3 different and unique breads that are all delicious.

Participants will experience all steps of sourdough baking condensed into two hours. Hands-on experience includes mixing, kneading and shaping. Class includes starter to take home. Light snack served.
Mix and knead your own yeasted bread dough from scratch… the best way to see the gluten development giving bread its structure. We'll cover yeast, gluten, timing and starters. Recipes covered are Classic Sourdough, Focaccia, and Challah.
