Spotlight Theatre Dance Studio has being established for over 30 years and we aim to help all our students reach their dancing potential.
We have and excellent reputation for having a relaxed, fun and friendly atmosphere. On arrival you will be given a welcome pack to fill out and it will include all the information you will need.
Our classes are taken from the IDTA (International Dance Teacher's Association) syllabus which uses a combination of traditional classwork at the barre and in the centre as well as creative improvisation to alternative music.
Aimed at dancers with little or no ballet experience. You will experience a range of barre and centre exercises to classical music that both soothes and excites.
Ballet is the oldest form of dance and comes from the court dancing of King Louis. As time passed this form of storytelling through movement has evolved into an art form that is beautiful, dramatic and demanding.
Ballet is the foundation of all other technical dance styles. Ballet dance emphasises proper body alignment, technique, poise, and balance.
Ballet classes are offered by Hype Dance Company. We aim to provide opportunities for all to realise their creative potential through dance.
