PRINCE2® 7 Foundation

This course aims to introduce PRINCE2® project management methodology through a series of practical activities and also prepare candidates for the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Examination.

PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is an effective, structured, project management method that covers the organisation, management and control of projects.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific pre-requisites. Some appreciation of the ideas and principles of services may be useful to provide context.

Audience

The PRINCE2® Foundation Course is aimed at project managers or those who aspire to such a role. It is also suitable for anyone who is involved in the conception, creation and delivery of a project: members of the project committee, project team managers, project auditors, project support (PMO) and other resources.

Learning Outcomes

• To understand and enhance your knowledge of the PRINCE2® method at the PRINCE2® Foundation Level.

• To gain an understanding of the PRINCE2® Principles, PRINCE2® Processes, and the PRINCE2® themes.

• To understand the benefits and application of the principles structure and the approach to project management.

Exam Format

• 60 min duration.

• 55% pass mark.

• Closed book.

Requirements to Receive the Certification

Successful completion of the exam will enable students to receive their certificate direct from PeopleCert.
