This certificate of achievement focuses on learning IEC 61131-3 languages using Allen Bradley PLCs. Graduates will acquire the skills needed to build, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot and manage PLC programs.
Students also have the opportunity to achieve two NAIT Microcredentials while taking this certificate program.

Program an Allen Bradley MicroLogix PLC and a CompactLogix PLC.

This course covers the fundamentals of digital logic and an introduction to programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
This program will assist you in developing and building a solid foundation on PLC and HMI.
Students will learn the function and application of PLCs in automation processes and will be given the fundamentals and practice of programming PLCs
This program provides the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to install and commission Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) control systems, essential to industrial automation processes.
Students will learn to identify malfunctioning PLC hardware, as well as to apply troubleshooting strategies to identify and localize problems caused by PLC software.
