DurationThis certificate of achievement focuses on learning IEC 61131-3 languages using Allen Bradley PLCs. Graduates will acquire the skills needed to build, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot and manage PLC programs.
Students also have the opportunity to achieve two NAIT Microcredentials while taking this certificate program.

This program will assist you in developing and building a solid foundation on PLC and HMI.
Students will learn the function and application of PLCs in automation processes and will be given the fundamentals and practice of programming PLCs
Students will learn to identify malfunctioning PLC hardware, as well as to apply troubleshooting strategies to identify and localize problems caused by PLC software.
The course consists of a series of practical programmable logic controllers (PLC) assignments of typical process and machine applications.
The PLC Specialist Diploma program is designed to provide our students with the knowledge and tools required to work in the field of industrial automation and control.
