One of the important elements used in the PBT method is muscle memory which helps to improve students' understanding of core stability, weight placement and alignment. Each exercise in the PBT program has been developed with care and guidance by Marie Walton-Mahon alongwith a team of physiotherapists.

Conveniently situated in Lonehill Shopping Centre in Fourways, we offer dancing classes in acrobatics, ballet, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), contemporary and lyrical, modern dance, jazz and hip-hop in a positive nurturing environment. Our aim is to build up our students in both body and mind and strive to instill the same love and passion for dance that we feel. Each student is trained and nurtured to achieve their personal best.
Dancers of all ages and levels are always welcome. We start as young as the age of 3 years up to adulthood. We are affiliated with The Acrobatic Federation of South Africa (AFSA), Cecchetti Society of Southern Africa, National Society of Dance Teachers (N.S.D.T) and Association of International Dance Teachers (A.I.D.T) whereby dancers will gain exposure to locally and internationally recognised dance exams and competitions.
Participating in dance lessons promotes creativity and helps a student develop an appreciation for the arts. Dance is a form of self-expression. Children who explore the world of dance at an early age will find a constructive outlet for their creativity and a positive way to express themselves.

Ballet Dance Lessons are offered by DanceCraft Studio for all ages and abilities. In partner dancing for social occasions, we focus on natural movement, connection and balance, to give our students a confident, smooth look on the dance floor.
It’s never too late to start dancing! Join ODS family for our beginner’s and intermediate ballet classes with highly professional teachers, who understand how the human body works and how to help each individual to reach the desired results.
Ballet Dance Classes are offered by Tania's School of Ballet for all ages.
Ballet Dance Lessons are offered by URD Dance Studio. Our goal is to build a lifelong passion for dance and equip our dancers to have a successful career in the entertainment industry.
