Course Description
There is a great demand for project managers in the industry. Despite your program, project management is a very important skill to acquire as you will be involved in small to large projects at your workplace.
This course will equip students with the knowledge and skills to manage work projects efficiently and reach your project goals successfully.
Students will be exposed to project management phases (initiation, planning, performing and closing), budgeting, risk management, conflict management, team management, and ethical issues.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
DESCRIBE the project management fundamentals, project integration management, and stakeholder management.
EXPLAIN the process involved in identifying and selecting projects and developing the project proposals.
DESCRIBE the process involved in defining scope, quality, responsibility assignment matrix, activity sequence and developing the schedule.
CALCULATE the earliest start, earliest finish, latest start, latest finish, total slack, and critical path.
DESCRIBE risk management and project closing process.
APPLY risk management principles to develop risk assessment matrix.
EXPLAIN the responsibilities of the project manager and project team.
DESCRIBE project communication, diversity, and ethical issues.
