Ballet is the technical foundation needed for all dance genres. It develops beautiful alignment, grace and technique whilst increasing flexibility, core strength, spatial awareness, musicality, and performance qualities.
The Junior Ballet classes focuses on bar work and centre practise with the use of props and storytelling with an element of fun to keep our younger students engaged and develop a real love for ballet.
The Vocational Senior Grades are based more on ability and experience than age. For the dedicated ballet student wanting to take their ballet to a pre professional level, will require to take extra classes in pointe, repertoire and PBT to develop and achieve their personal best.
Our ballet students sit their exams yearly and all ballet students are invited to join our end of year concert.

Tempo Red was developed and redirected by Diana Sakaris who was previously the Head of Department of Babies and Tiny Tots at Brent Street Studios.
Diana took over Tempo Red in 2008 and in 2011 moved into brand new state of the art studios in Brookvale designed with fully sprung floors, full mirrors, bars and a great sound system to accommodate the growing needs of the school.
Classes are run during the school term six days a week, offering a wide variety of dance genres for children, both girls and boys, with our babyballet® program starting from the tender age of 18 months old.
Our RAD Ballet exams are held mid-year and our results are of an excellent standard.
At 2Step Dance we offer an internationally recognised range of exams designed to motivate and encourage students of all ages and levels of ability.
