Open Source Training Class
The open-source general radiation safety training is generally scheduled once a month. This training is for everyone working in a lab setting with open/loose sources of radioactive materials (powders and liquids). Below you will find our upcoming training schedule.
Please plan to attend our scheduled sessions. If you need training and cannot make our scheduled time listed, contact our office. We may be able to schedule another class, but we have limited availability. The training usually takes 3 hours to complete.
It covers radiation hazard information, exposure monitoring, safe use practices, instrumentation, and basic procedures for radiation workers at the university.

Radiation Safety Training course is offered by California State University. CSU Training is a training institute with a large selection of training and certification programs. These classes allow students staff and faculty to use CSU Training.
