Anyone who wears respiratory protective equipment, such as self-contained breathing apparatus,’ must be certified in its proper use, limitations, and uses.

Remote Supplied Breathing Apparatus
The course is comprised of theory and practical components. Participants are instructed on proper and safe techniques for wearing and maintaining their RPE

Through this course, participants are instructed in safe operating techniques, how to perform thorough inspections, and effective maintenance procedures. The contents of this RPE trai ning course covers the following types of respiratory protective equipment: Air-purifying respirator (APR).
When workers are required to work in confined spaces, confined spaces awareness training is required by law and is vital if incidents, injuries, and deaths are to be eliminated.
This confined space awareness course will provide participants with the information needed to understand the potential hazards of working in these spaces and the elements necessary to control those hazards prior to entry.
Training for individuals who use propane powered construction heaters (up to 400,000 BTUH) and hand-held torches. Students who only require instruction on the safe use of hand-held torches may take P?T?I’s 400-08 – Propane Torches course instead of this course.
