This course provides students with a foundation in parametric building information modeling (bim). Students will use revit architecture for parametric building design and project documentation.
Students begin the course by learning the fundamental features of revit and progress through design modeling to drawing production. Major topics include the modeling of commercial and residential building, basic structures, and wall type selection, building interior design, family customization, site creation, roof design, schedules, 3D walkthrough, rendering and sheet production.

Block Course format
Block classes that create focus and save you time. Students are enrolled in one class at a time for the majority of their program duration, which means they are focusing on one subject at a time, 4 hours a day, 5 days per week. See course outlines for the listing of individual course lengths.
100% work experience placement
Many of our programs include a work experience placement component that takes place towards the end of the program. We guarantee all our students in these programs a work experience placement. We help you find a local employer that will give you the opportunity to practice what you have learned during college. Some of our students are able to obtain full-time jobs with their work experience sponsors or find jobs through contacts made during their work experience.
Small instructor-led classes
Our small class sizes give you plenty of room to participate in class discussions. All our instructors are industry professionals with their own education and varied professional experiences which help them bring practical lessons to the students in all departments.
Flexible scheduling and immediate start dates
Our programs are designed for adults who may be working full-time or part-time with busy schedules; we offer full-time and part-time programs to fit your schedule. We have recently launched new blended programs, which allow students to complete a portion of the program online so they can work on their own time and pace for those courses. Our programs start every 2-4 weeks, so you can begin your training almost immediately!

Transfer Pathways
We offer our students pathways for further academic success by establishing articulation agreements with local institutions.
