Course Details

Revit is Autodesk's flagship Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, allowing users to interrogate a database of facts and figures about building materials used, mechanical and thermal characteristics etc.

It can generate models, measurements, energy consumption estimates etc. about walls, doors, windows and every other object in a building. This makes Revit suitable for every construction industry professional, from architects, engineers and industrial designers, to IT project managers and investors.

Taught by our specialist 3D and architectural modelling tutor, our Revit course is a very hands-on course that illuminates the principle tools and best practice techniques of Revit. The course makes use of instructor-led projects to show how Revit skills can be effectively applied to the working environment.

Topics covered include Building Information Modelling (BIM), Revit architecture basics, Starting a design, Basics of the building model, Using general tools and referencing dimensions and constraints, Viewing the building model, Developing the building model, Detailing and drafting, Construction documentation and Presenting the building model.
