Safety audit & inspections should do more than simply identify hazardous conditions. They should provide useful data for the purpose of effective analysis and evaluation of the safety management system.
OSH Management System Standard (OSHMS) requires organizations to set competency levels for personnel performing audits. To perform effectively, Internal OSHMS Audits, auditors require a combination of specific technical knowledge, techniques and a range of auditing skills to conduct thorough audits and prepare technical audit reports.
