This course is designed for employees who are required to oversee/monitor the safety of workers on a work site.
This course uses case studies to take participants through the complexities of the WHS laws to identify and understand WHS obligations and responsibilities (duty of care), enabling employers and employees to develop the skills and knowledge to.
Course Outcomes
On completion of the course you will be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of WHS issues
Identify the legal requirements for employers and managers
Establish representation in the workplace
Explain the relationship between management system failures and the immediate causes of accidents
Demonstrate how to identify hazards and assess risks in the workplace and identify means of controlling risks using the hierarchy of controls
Upon completion you will receive a Statement of Attendance.

This Confined Space course is aimed at those who are required to enter or work in confined spaces.
The course covers the roles and responsibilities in risk management in the workplace, regulatory requirements, the risk assessment process and how to develop controls suited to the level of risk by applying the hierarchy of controls.
We utilise state-of-the-art, portable gas fire training systems which enable the trainer to replicate different types of fires (such as bins, stoves & switchboards) to give the participant accurate experience & training in the use of portable fire extinguishers in a controlled, safe environment.
The factors which cause workplace accidents and occupational illnesses are called hazards. The need for systematic management of OHS hazards and their attendant risks applies to all organisations and all activities and functions within an organisation.
A construction worker must have completed general construction induction training (commonly known as the “White Card”) before being permitted to commence work on a construction site. This is a mandatory requirement across Australia.
