Salsa was further developed in the 1960s by Puerto Ricans living in New York. The simple back and forward steps and figure-eight hip motions are quick to learn and look as great in the ballroom as they do in the club.
Academy Ballroom Atlanta opened in the spring of 2006 and quickly became known as the “Dance Training Center of the South”. With many of the top social and competitive professionals in-house, we guarantee the best quality ballroom and Latin dance instruction in Georgia and all of the southeastern states.
