It will start at a basic level and progress to intermediate moves. Along with mastering the basic moves, students will learn about the music, history and culture that makes Salsa the vibrant street dance it is today.
At The Get Down, we get funky, we get loose, and most importantly, we get down! We are home to freestylers and street dancers alike with a focus on hip hop, funk, afro and Latin street styles. We live by the motto that dance is a tool to build relationships.
With this motto, our goal is to nurture the inner dancer and to provide a safe space where individuals can build and grow their artistic expression. Every style taught at our studio is one that owners, Ceech, Brian and Jeannette all love to dance.
Naturally, with this love for dance, we want to share our passion with everyone around us. Ultimately, we aim to make a positive impact in the community and to keep the social dance scene alive.
Salsa Dance Classes are offered by Dance With Joy Studios for all ages and skill level. Dance with Joy Studios’ mission is to bring more love, kindness and joy to the world, as a catalyst for healing and positive change.
