We teach tenor, soprano and baritone saxophone. Alto sax is the most commonly learnt, due to the price, availability and playability of the instrument, but you can start on any saxophone.
Younger children may be limited by their size as a full-size saxophone is one of the larger instruments, so the minimum starting age is about 8 years old. However, a smaller instrument is available which makes playing easier for younger beginners.
We would recommend speaking to a member of JG Windows staff before booking a first lesson for a child to check if they are able to comfortably hold the instrument. There is no upper age limit!
