This course was designed to give basic instruction on the safe erection and dismantling of Tube and Clamp Scaffolding in a residential/commercial environment. Topics covered will include: Site Inspection and documentation of completed hazard/risk assessment, Erection/Dismantle of Towers, Safe Access, Tie in methods and proper Bracing.
Included under these headings is information on material handling, tools for scaffold erection, inspection of scaffold components and commonly used scaffolding hand signals. As a pre-requisite to completing this course, the student must have a valid “Fall Arrest Training” Certificate.
