Control & threading of plain machine and over-locker

Students are taught a range of sewing skills using industrial sewing machines. At the end of the course, graduates will have a range of sample garments as well as a workbook/portfolio of skills learnt.
Learn to Earn offers training in life skills training for other organisations and interested groups.
In the beginner courses you will learn to sew a bag, a cushion and a pyjama pant.
We offer sewing classes on garment construction, utilising commercial patterns (McCalls, KwikSew, Newlook, Simplicity). You will learn to use and customise the patterns to suit your own body shape.
We provide hands on sewing lessons to give you techniques to make professional looking garments. We especially cater for women who do not know how to sew and teach you to sew immediately under supervision. Sewing Machines are provided.
Learning to sew has never been easier, our Ready Steady Sew course is the starting point for all beginner sewers. Our logical approach will instil a great love for sewing whilst learning many useful, fast and accurate sewing skills.
Join our once-weekly sessions for eight weeks and discover how to draft your own Shirt Pattern and sew a Shirt fitted and detailed to your specifications.
