Misi university formerly known as malaysia institute for supply chain innovation (misi) was launched as a joint initiative between the massachusetts institute of technology (mit) and the government of malaysia on march 22, 2011. Misi features masters program in supply chain management and logistics. Misi is an independent, stand-alone degree granting academic institution established under the malaysian law. Additionally, misi conducts research and corporate outreach activities for global as well as local firms that operate in the southeast asia region.
Established to become the supply chain thought leader in region, the objectives of misi can be viewed at multiple levels. At the highest level, misi is aiming to pursue the same overarching objective to constantly redefine the state-of-the-art of supply chain management theory and practice.
