Learning Objectives:
The Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) for SIMATIC S7-1200 forms the work environment for integrated engineering with SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic and SIMATIC WinCC Basic. The participants will learn on how to install and wire the system, understand the necessary basic components to set up an automation system.
Also the participants will be familiarized with the handling of the TIA Portal, basic knowledge about the structure of S7- 1200 automation system, configuration and parameterization of hardware, and the basics of programming.
You will learn how to clear simple hardware faults and software errors in the SIMATIC S7-1200 automation system and to create, modify and expand small STEP 7 programs. You will thus be capable of reducing downtime.
You will also get an overview on operator control and monitoring. You will also learn programming a basic Human Machine Interface (HMI), communicating to the S7-1200 via PROFINET. Participants will learn how to connect to S7-1200 to the cloud via a cloud gateway to enable online I/O configuration, alert, and also data analytics.

Bhd and Petronas Ammonia Sdn. Bhd.
Additionally, from the government departments were the State Secretary’s Office (SUK), Pahang Department of Islamic Religion, Pahang State Social Welfare Department and the Technical and Vocational Training Education Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia.
Pahang Skills also has trained IPT graduates through skills improvement programs funded by Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputra (YPPB), MIDA, MPC and KPT. Among the programs under this category were Expert Craftsman Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System Installation and Maintenance with IoT, Python Certification and Application in Data Analytics, Siemens PLC with IoT Integration and Manufacturing Management Foundation.
