I've always loved silver jewellery and absolutely anything creative. More than hand-crafting beautiful, one-off designs; I am passionate about passing on my skills. With years of experience as a teacher under my belt.
I have trained in the art of silversmithing. I can offer you the ultimate, absolute beginner, no experience necessary workshop and am confident you will be proud of the results.
We'll cover all the basics of silver smithing and an introduction to jewellers tools and techniques to allow you to create your own pieces of jewellery and metal work.
For students who have a good knowledge of basic jewellery making techniques wishing to develop their own ideas and improve their skills. Students should have attended jewellery making classes regularly for a year and feel confident to work independently.
If you want to create modern, unusual jewellery using contemporary materials this course will guide you through the process. You will undertake several projects to produce a range of pieces that explore different techniques.
Aimed at beginners, this course focuses on Jewellery Making using polymer clay which can be used to create colourful shaped beads and pendants.
Enamelling Courses is offered by Alys Power Jewellery. Held at the Nottingham Jewellery School, at the Hartley Business Centre in Carrington, Nottingham this is a six week class in enamelling, focussing on dry sifted kiln enamel
