A little bit more about your class: Joanne’s experience with teaching music to the very young as well as many years of trumpet teaching have led to the development of this unique class for young trumpet students.
In each class students will play games, develop technique needed to play the trumpet, learn to read music, write rhythms, play their own compositions, and learn short melodies on the trumpet. As age permits, students will play in ensemble together and begin to improvise.
A non-profit organization founded in 1964, the Victoria Conservatory of Music (VCM) has earned an outstanding reputation of quality in education, performance, and music therapy.
The VCM welcomes the whole community, with students of all ages and musical abilities exploring their creative talents through musical genres from the classical to contemporary and through the use of music technology.
