NYST is an authorized provider of NYC DOB safety courses.  We offer the 40-hour Site Safety manager course at our Brooklyn Training Center.  This course is a required part of the application for a license as a NYC Site Safety Manager.  

 

According to the NYC Department of Buildings website, to be eligible for a SSM license, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • To obtain your Site Safety Manager Certification, you must meet the following qualifications:
  • Be at least eighteen (18) years old;
  • Be able to read, write and understand the English language;
  • Be fit to perform work authorized by the particular license;
